Go to Mexico in January and wondering what should I wear / bring …?
My family and I are going on a cruise in early January and we will stop in Mexico for three days. We stop at Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo St. Luke's and my understanding is mostly warm all year round. Does anyone have any experience in Mexico, to let me know what time it really be so? I mean, is it warm enough to wear shorts and a tank top, go swimming in the ocean? Or is a little cooler, where they must wear trousers and a shirt? Please, any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Are you going on Carnival Pride? If so, you will have a wonderful trip! I really enjoyed some years ago. Jan should be mild in three places - PV a bit warmer and a little cooler Cape. Mornings and afternoons are really cool - After sunset, which is early, I wear capris and sweater sets, sweatshirts, sweats, etc. During the day will be warmer --- the sun is nice and warm and may be 76 but look 85. The sea would not be too bad because it's just cooling. We were there in October and it was 100 every day. . . cooled slowly through January / February and heated. The wind in the cruise can be a pinch, so you can wear a jacket with zipper that can put on clothes, etc., if you dress up. Jan is more difficult to pack because we have to wear clothes multiple stations. Have a great time!
