Norwegian Spirit Cruise ship?
Me and my Family are going on the Spirit cruise ship and I want to know whats going to be there. Were leaving February 3rd. So heres the deal im 16 and I want to know if theres going to be anything there my age like for instance the clubs for teens. And learing about the food would be nice and were not to eat and places to eat (I pretty much like every cuisine). Just give me the pros and cons and I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
I have been on the NCL Spirit and several other NCL ships. Don't worry you will have plenty to do. Each day of your cruise you will receive in your cabin a "newsletter" listing the time, place and particulars of everything happening for you on ship. There will be organized games and other activities around the pools. In the evenings there are shows that you can go to, one show for those with an early dinner seating and another (same show) for those who eat late. There is always free food available. Usually there is a place in ship where you can go get something. Or, you can always just pick up the phone in your cabin and order from the room service menu (food is free). If you want, you can order breakfast room service. The newsletter that you get in your cabin each day will list the places to eat and which are free and which have a service charge. There will always be a buffet so you can just go get whatever you like and the buffet will have some of every type food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Spirit has a teen disco called Celebrity Teen Disco located on Deck 13. It has get down and get funky music, video, jukebox, bar fooseball and air hockey. On deck 10 at the back of the ship there is Buccaneer's Wet & Wild, a kids pool complete with slides, paddling pool and a hot tub just for kids. Also on Deck 10 is the Starlight Video Arcade which has a variety of video games. The Spirit has a program for teens 13 to 17 called Teens Crew. The staff which runs this program will organize activities for all of the teens who want to participate.
The Spirit has a basketball court, and table tennis (the cruise ship will provide all of the sports equipment) and then you can watch movies free in your cabin. Then they have a game room with table games and cards and an internet cafe too.
I suggest that you go to the web site for the Spirit and look at the port stops and the features for the ships:
