What is the best all-inclusive resort in Mexico?
My DH and I are planning a vacation to an all-inclusive resort. I've heard Mexico has some good ones. BTW, we are on somewhat of a budget. Anyone have any suggestions?
I've been to Mexico twice. Both times I stayed at an all-inclusive resort, The first time was at the Gran Bahia Principa in Akumal. Everything about this spot was for the most part great. The only real downside was the lack of a beach to swim on (too rocky) and it's just such a big resort.
The other one I stayed at was the Playacar Palace in Playa del Carmen. It was a beautiful resort with wonderful rooms. The downside for me with this resort is a personal issue that I'm sure is not a common occurrence. I was sexually assaulted by one of the staff members in the elevator when I was coming up from the pool.
