Where should I plan my next trip? Bahamas or Jamaica?

Im 31 turning 32 in January. I have never been to neither places. I stay in South Carolina and it would be cheaper to drive to Charleston for a Bahamas cruise but I have always wondered what jamaica was like if i flew there and stayed there for a week. I want to party with the people at night, all though I will be alone, im not for sure what part of jamaica to check into. I also want my quiet time on the beautiful beach I was told about. And I have always wanted to go horse back riding on the beach. Not for sure which one has that. Are there any places where single people like to get a room in Jamaica or should I stay a week in Bahamas. I have only been on Carnival just once & I really did not like it much. The entertainment was not that good although I went with 12 other people. And I don't plan to go until after March 2009. I don't care to do much shopping except for a t-shirt or shot glasses if that helps at all. I just want to get away.

I would say Jamaica,especially Negril JA,u can get all the partying and house back riding you want,and still have some nice peace and quiet.Also in Jamaica u can get a wide range to chose from such a rich culture ,Eco-tourism....so u cant bored.You can check these links for more info.
