Dominican Republic All Inclusive Vacations

A Top Dominican Republic Vacation in Puerto Plata

If you are considering a Dominican Republic Vacation, then the absolutely top place to go to must be The Bungalows at Puerto Plata.

From the moment you arrive at The Bungalows, and you are greeted by your name, given cold towels and a drink you will be made to feel very special, and The Bungalows is a special place you will have chosen for your Dominican Republic Vacation.

Be aware that the resort isn't on the beach, but unless you are a beach lover this isn't a problem. To be fair Puerto Plata isn't renowned as a beach resort area, partly because it is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island, so you aren't going to find a turquoise blue sea and white sand beaches. You can take the five minute walk to the beach, but there isn't beach service and the sea is really only for body surfing and that kind of thing.

Now the pool area at The Bungalows is very upmarket, with padded sunbeds, a number of cabanas, some even with televisions, which might seem a little over the top, but is excellent for watching sport at the weekends if you need this sort of thing on a vacation. There is a waterfall, and the bar is close by!!

You will like the accommodation which is one of the reasons that The Bungalows ranks so highly in the Dominican Republic Hotels popularity list. You will find marble floors, king size beds, a fully stocked fridge, and even a Jacuzzi. There is a large covered patio, which has curtains you can close for privacy. Flat screen TV, and an iPod dock, with 24/7 room service completes very nice living quarters.

Mentioning room service brings us to the overall service levels at The Bungalows. As you would expect from one of the top Dominican Republic resorts the service is quite outstanding. You will find the staff not only remember names, but also that vital element of favourite cocktail!! The Bungalows is one of these rare places where not only is the service attentive, they really go out of their way to make sure you get what you want.

The Bungalows sits next to Sun Village, so if you tire of the Social which is the on site restaurant then you can go there and eat, although the food isn't quite as good. The Bungalows can be described as a Dominican Republic All Inclusive Hotel, so you would only pay of you wanted something like lobster on the menu. The quality of food on the menu at The Bungalows is outstanding if a bit restricted, so you may want a change if you are there for a week or more.

The Bungalows has four tennis courts, and oddly enough a basketball cum hockey pitch, and a fitness club at the Spa, where you can also find a steam room. You will find the grounds are immaculately maintained, and in fact you will have a really nice Dominican Republic Vacation here, and not be disappointed in any way at all.
