I am planning a cruise with my daughter, who will be 13 at the time of travel. I saw a 4-day cruise from Nice Port of New Orleans to a destination in Cozumel, Mexico. Then back to port. This will be my first time on a cruise and outside states. I'm leaning towards the Carnival b / c of your teen's activities and prices. However, I'm nervous doing this myself. I called Carnival # 800, but responsibility could not help anyone. He was trying to sell this and not, but was answering my questions. Like if I go to Mexico I will have to raise money differently? Do I need a passport, is my room or stern anchor, etc ... I felt I was in your nerves. Do you recommend using a travel agent, or trying to sell everything as well. You are approaching this the right way. You need to find someone who is willing to listen and answer your questions. Should be willing to sell what they want, without trying to pressure you into something else. However, you can suggest other alternatives, because they think something else could be better choice for you. A few travel agents interview. If you find one you feel comfortable, the book with him / her. Ask about cancellation fees and what happens if the lower price after booking the cruise. Typically, the higher on the ship you rather have to pay, even for an inside cabin. In fact, an inside cabin (no window) on the highest point on the ship may cost more than a cabin with ocean view (with a window) on the cover underside of the orbiter. Regarding the location, if you want the least amount of movement, the mid-and near the water line is best. If you like looking at the wake, to Next, a rear facing car is a necessity. If you want to be near the action, then you want to be higher. If you want peace, then choose a car that only has other cabins above, below and beside you.
