Compare All Inclusive Vacations

NH Riviera Cancun All-Inclusive Luxury Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico - Guest Reviews

I have to compare an all inclusive vacation in a resort with a cruise, help?

My husband and I are trying to plan a vacation of 7 days and were thinking of a cruise is the best option. Then someone brought up to stay in the all-inclusive resort. Having done nothing, I wonder which would be cheaper and more relaxing. We need a break and I would go between Action Thanksgiving and Christmas or the week before Thanksgiving. Thanks for the tips!

The only all inclusive trips I have taken cruises have been what I liked because once I just unpacked, moved and then can choose if / when I wanted to go on shore excursions, or explore all the wonderful activities offered aboard the ship. Drinks, massages, beauty salon, etc. on board were not included, but there was much that was. It depends on what you enjoy doing and what are their tastes.
